Description
Wool muslin in the colour Aubergine Bordeaux is a lightweight fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The dark berry tone combines warm Bordeaux with a violet aubergine note and has a deep, calm and noble effect without appearing too garish. Wool muslin ( in aubergine bordeaux 180g ) is particularly suitable for fine garments such as bonnets, headscarves, veils, turbans, underdresses, light tunics and shawls. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 180 g/mtr.
With its light weight, this wool muslin falls softly and agilely, but remains a little more grippy than very delicate muslin qualities with 110 g/m. The plain weave provides a simple, calm surface that goes well with historical clothing, LARP, reenactment and natural fabric combinations. Aubergine Bordeaux brings depth to light garments and is particularly suitable for coloured layers, veils, shawls and fine accents with lighter fabrics.
Wool Muslin in Aubergine Bordeaux 180g: Uses and Combinations
The wool muslin is well suited for hoods, headscarves and veils. This fabric can also be suitable for turbans, undergarments, light tunics, blouses, shawls, lining layers, fine historical clothing, LARP and reenactment . Aubergine Bordeaux comes into its own especially with headgear, light garments and fine intermediate layers, because the colour looks strong and yet remains soft.
Wool muslin made from virgin wool can be comfortable to wear because wool can absorb moisture and, depending on the layering, has both a light and warming effect. This makes the fabric well suited for garments that should not be stiff or heavy. With darker colors, the fabric often looks a little more closed, but remains fine and light due to the low weight.
The colour Aubergine Bordeaux can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, creamy white, grey, black, dark brown, golden yellow, olive green or muted blue tones. As a dark berry tone, aubergine Bordeaux is suitable for both visible light garments and calm, colourful accents.
