Description
Loden cloth in the colour Melange Tommy-light is a heavy wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The light melange tone looks calm, natural and more lively than a completely monochrome wool fabric. Cloth Loden ( in Melange Tommy-light 680g ) is particularly suitable for coats, capes, warm jackets and robust outerwear. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 680 g/s.mtr.
At 680 g/m, this wool fabric is one of the heavy cloth and loden qualities. It brings stability, warmth and a strong fabric effect without the light melange looking too austere. This colour is particularly interesting for historical clothing, LARP, reenactment and natural garments, because it remains light, but gets more depth through the mottled.
Cloth Loden Melange Tommy-light 680g: use and combination
The wool fabric is well suited for coats, capes and warm jackets. This heavy cloth can also be suitable for jackets, robust outerwear, cowl, cap, collar, doublet, trimmings and historical garments . Especially for larger areas, Melange Tommy-light comes into its own because the fabric looks natural and can be combined well with darker or stronger colours.
The wool is breathable, windproof and dirt- and water-repellent. This makes the fabric well suited for garment parts that not only look beautiful, but are also practical to use. This is particularly interesting for coats, capes and warm jackets, because the fabric appears strong, warming and weatherproof without being described as waterproof.
The colour Melange Tommy-light can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with dark brown, black, grey, midnight blue, olive green, fir green, rust red, burgundy red or honey mustard. As a light melange tone, the fabric is suitable for both calm main clothing and robust combinations with bolder fabrics.
