Description
Wool wool white 260g/m herringbone is a light wool fabric by the metre in a light, natural wool white. The colour looks calm, simple and easy to combine – particularly suitable for natural-coloured garments, undergarments, linings or light accents.
The fabric is made of 100% virgin wool, is approx. 150 cm wide and has a weight of 260 g/m or approx. 173 g/m². Due to the light weight and the beautifully falling feel, this wool is particularly suitable for garments that should not look too heavy.
The herringbone weave gives the fabric a fine, lively structure. This makes it look more interesting than a very smooth woolen cloth, but still remains discreet. The fabric is well suited for underdresses, light overdresses, tunics, strappy dresses, light trousers, linings, veils, shawls and fine historical garments.
The natural wool white can be combined very well with strong colours such as red, blue, green or brown. This light shade also goes very well with grey, black, natural linen and other woollen fabrics. Especially with multi-layered clothing, trimmings or as a light contrasting fabric, the herringbone structure can come into its own.
For LARP, reenactment, medieval clothing and historical sewing projects, this fabric is a good choice if you are looking for a light, natural wool fabric with a subtle structure. By the metre, it can be used flexibly for individual garment parts, lining layers or combinations with thicker woollen fabrics.

| Care instructions | Virgin wool loves to hang out in the fresh air and therefore rarely needs to be washed. Depending on how it is processed, it can be washed cold and spin-free on the wool cycle. If you want to be on the safe side, you can take them to the dry cleaners. |
