Description
Cloth in the colour English blue is a strong wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The blue tone looks clear, calm and classic without appearing too garish. English blue goes particularly well with coats, capes, jackets, warm tunics and historical clothing with a strong but easy to combine colour effect. As a cloth ( English blue 580g ), the fabric has enough substance for warming outerwear and robust garment parts. It is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 580 g/mtr.
At 580 g/s.m.m., this cloth is stronger and warmer than lighter wool fabrics with 330 g/m or 480 g/s.m. It is well suited for clothing that needs more stability, warmth and protection without immediately looking like a very heavy coat loden. The clear blue tone makes garments appear neat, colourful and yet calm and goes particularly well with light natural tones, grey, brown or strong contrasts.

This strong scarf can also be suitable for jackets, cowls, cottes, cappa, collars, doublets, trimmings, LARP, reenactment and historical garments . It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, creamy white, grey, black, dark brown, golden yellow, rust red or muted green tones. As a clear shade of blue, English blue is suitable for main clothing as well as for trimmings and contrasting combinations.
