Description
Cloth in the color night blue is a heavy wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the meter. The dark blue tone looks calm, deep and noble without appearing as hard as black. Midnight blue goes particularly well with coats, capes, jackets, warm jackets and historical clothing with a dark, clear colour effect. As a cloth ( midnight blue 700g ), the fabric has a lot of substance for warming outerwear and robust garment parts. It is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 700 g/m.m.
At 700 g/mtr, this cloth is one of the heavy woollen fabrics. It is well suited for clothing that should have stability, warmth and a strong fabric effect. The dark blue tone makes garments appear calm and high-quality and looks particularly beautiful on larger areas such as coats, capes or warm jackets.
Cloth Night Blue 700g: Use and Combination
The wool fabric is well suited for coats, capes and jackets. This heavy scarf can also be suitable for warm jackets, robust outerwear, cowl, cap, collar, doublet, trimmings, LARP, reenactment and historical garments . Especially with dark outer garments, night blue comes into its own because the shade brings depth and still looks softer than pure black.
The wool is breathable, windproof and dirt- and water-repellent. This makes the fabric well suited for garment parts that not only look beautiful, but are also practical to use. This is particularly interesting for coats, capes and warm jackets, because the fabric appears robust, warming and weatherproof without being described as waterproof.
The colour night blue can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, creamy white, grey, black, dark brown, golden yellow, rust red or muted green tones. As a dark shade of blue, midnight blue is suitable for calm main clothing as well as trimmings and clear combinations with lighter fabrics.
