Description

Wool muslin in the colour Pompeii Orange is a lightweight fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The warm orange tone looks earthy, friendly and lively without appearing garish. Wool muslin ( in Pompeii Orange 180g ) is particularly suitable for fine garments such as bonnets, headscarves, veils, turbans, underdresses, light tunics and shawls. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 180 g/mtr.

With its light weight, this wool muslin falls softly and agilely, but remains a little more grippy than very delicate muslin qualities with 110 g/m. The plain weave provides a simple, calm surface that goes well with historical clothing, LARP, reenactment and natural fabric combinations. Pompeii Orange brings a warm colour effect to light garments and is particularly suitable when the fabric is to appear colourful, natural and not too heavy.

The wool muslin is well suited for hoods, headscarves and veils. This fabric can also be suitable for turbans, undergarments, light tunics, blouses, shawls, lining layers, fine historical clothing, LARP and reenactment . Pompeii orange comes into its own especially in headgear, light garments and fine intermediate layers, because the colour gives warmth and still remains natural.

Wool muslin made from virgin wool can be comfortable to wear because wool can absorb moisture and, depending on the layering, has both a light and warming effect. This makes the fabric well suited for garments that should not be stiff or heavy. For lighter and warm shades, depending on the cut, number of layers and processing, it should be borne in mind that the fabric can appear slightly translucent.

The colour Pompeii Orange can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with wool white, natural linen, cream white, brown, dark brown, grey, black, olive green, honey mustard or muted blue tones. As a warm orange tone, Pompeii Orange is suitable for visible light garments as well as for colourful accents with calmer outer fabrics.
