Description

Wool muslin in the colour Mediterranean Olive Green is a lightweight fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The shade of green has a natural, calm and slightly Mediterranean feel, with an olive colour effect that is not too dark and not too garish. Wool muslin ( in Mediterranean Olive Green 180g ) is particularly suitable for fine garments such as bonnets, headscarves, veils, turbans, undergarments, light tunics and shawls. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 180 g/mtr.

With its light weight, this wool muslin falls softly and agilely, but remains a little more grippy than very delicate muslin qualities with 110 g/m. The plain weave provides a simple, calm surface that goes well with historical clothing, LARP, reenactment and natural fabric combinations. Mediterranean Olive Green brings a muted shade of green to a light robe and looks particularly beautiful when the fabric is to remain natural, colourful and yet restrained.

Wool Muslin in Mediterranean Olive Green 180g: Uses and Combinations

The wool muslin is well suited for hoods, headscarves and veils. This fabric can also be suitable for turbans, undergarments, light tunics, blouses, shawls, lining layers, fine historical clothing, LARP and reenactment . Mediterranean Olive Green comes into its own especially in headgear, light garments and fine intermediate layers, because the colour looks natural and can be combined well with warm and light fabrics.

Wool muslin made from virgin wool can be comfortable to wear because wool can absorb moisture and, depending on the layering, has both a light and warming effect. This makes the fabric well suited for garments that should not be stiff or heavy. For lighter and medium shades, depending on the cut, number of layers and processing, it should be borne in mind that the fabric can appear slightly translucent.

The colour Mediterranean Olive Green can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, cream white, brown, dark brown, grey, black, rust red, honey mustard or muted blue tones. As an olive shade of green, Mediterranean Olive Green is suitable for visible light garments as well as for calm accents with lighter or earthy outer fabrics.
