Description
Wool muslin in the colour summer breeze blue is a lightweight fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The light blue tone looks fresh, soft and friendly without appearing garish. Wool muslin ( in summer breeze blue 180g ) is particularly suitable for fine garments such as bonnets, headscarves, veils, turbans, undergarments, light tunics and shawls. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 180 g/mtr.
With its light weight, this wool muslin falls softly and agilely, but remains a little more grippy than very delicate muslin qualities with 110 g/m. The plain weave provides a simple, calm surface that goes well with historical clothing and natural fabric combinations. Summer Breeze Blue brings a bright, airy colour effect to garments without making the fabric look heavy or stiff.

The wool muslin is well suited for hoods, headscarves and veils. This fabric can also be suitable for turbans, undergarments, light tunics, blouses, shawls, lining layers, fine historical clothing, LARP and reenactment . Especially with light headgear, light garment parts and fine intermediate layers, summer breeze blue comes into its own.
Wool muslin made from virgin wool can be comfortable to wear because wool can absorb moisture and, depending on the layering, has both a light and warming effect. This makes the fabric well suited for garments that should not be stiff or heavy. With lighter colours, depending on the cut, number of layers and processing, it should be borne in mind that the fabric can appear slightly translucent.
The colour summer breeze blue can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, creamy white, grey, dark brown, black, golden yellow, burgundy red or muted green tones. As a light shade of blue, summer breeze blue is suitable for visible light garments as well as for fresh accents with calmer outer fabrics.
