Description
100% pure virgin wool in plain weave. At 180g/mtr, this muslin is wonderful for very light summer clothes or underwear. Also used as a hood, headscarf or turban. Cooling in summer, as sweat is absorbed, warming in winter.

Passt farblich toll zum paprikagrünen Tuchloden, benutze ihn als kontrastreiches Futter. Ist etwas kühler und heller als der safrangelbe Loden, harmoniert aber auch gut.
Die Verarbeitung ist im Vergleich zu Loden eher für Fortgeschrittene, weil der Stoff so dünn und fein ist. Dadurch dass er natürlich auch nicht gefilzt ist, franst er beim Arbeiten auch aus. Er ist zwar sehr dicht gewebt, aber durch die Feinheit der Fäden schwierig mit der Maschine zu nähen. Etwas Zug auf die Naht und es entstehen Löcher, so dass die Naht ausreißen könnte, wenn man zu nah an der Kante näht.
Als Lösung habe ich mit einer eher lockeren Fadenspannung und langer Stichlänge genäht, so dass eher die Naht als der Stoff stretcht. Keine Ahnung ob das so richtig ist, aber es funktioniert. Eine overlock wäre wahrscheinlich richtig gut dafür, wenn man die Naht danach verstecken kann.
