Description

Wool muslin in the colour orchid purple is a very light fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The purple shade looks soft, colourful and a little more noble than a classic pink, without appearing too dark or too garish. Wool muslin ( in orchid purple 110g ) is particularly suitable for fine garments such as veils, bonnets, headscarves, turbans, undergarments, light toga and delicate shawls. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 110 g/m.

Due to its very low weight, this wool muslin falls particularly fine, soft and light. The plain weave provides a simple surface that is well suited for historical clothing, fine headwear and light layers of fabric. Orchid purple brings a soft, special hue to the garment without making the fabric look heavy or stiff.

Wool Muslin in Orchid Purple 110g: Uses and Combinations

The wool muslin is well suited for veils, hoods and headscarves. This fabric can also be suitable for turbans, undergarments, light toga, shawls, lining layers, fine historical clothing, LARP and reenactment . Orchid purple comes into its own especially in coloured headgear, light garments and fine intermediate layers.

Wool muslin made from virgin wool can be comfortable to wear because wool can absorb moisture and, depending on the layering, has both a light and warming effect. Especially with very fine fabrics, depending on the cut, number of layers and processing, it should be considered that the fabric can appear somewhat translucent.

The colour orchid purple can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with wool white, natural linen, cream white, grey, black, dark brown, golden yellow, night blue or muted green tones. As a soft purple tone, orchid purple is suitable for visible light garments as well as for fine accents to calmer outer fabrics.
