Description
Wool Diamond Twill Golden Yellow Brick 360g is a patterned wool fabric made of 100% sheep’s wool in carded yarn by the metre. The colour combination of warm golden yellow and brick, a faint-warm reddish-brown tone, looks strong, historic and lively without appearing garish. Wool diamond twill ( in golden yellow/brick 360g ) is particularly suitable for tunics, dresses, trousers, skirts, trimmings, bags and accessories. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of approx. 360 g/mtr.
With its weight of approx. 360 g/mtr, this diamond twill is lighter than heavy loden qualities, but still has enough substance for clothing, trimmings and smaller pieces of equipment. The woven diamond structure makes the fabric more lively than a smooth woolen cloth and looks particularly beautiful with simple cuts, because the pattern brings depth and movement to the garment by itself.

The wool fabric is well suited for tunics, dresses and trousers. This diamond twill can also be suitable for skirts, trimmings, bags, accessories, cowl, cotte, doublet, LARP, reenactment and historical garments . Especially with trimmings, hems, sleeves or pocket flaps, the weave structure comes into its own without the need for additional decorations.
Diamond twill is a good choice if you don’t want a garment to look quite plain. The structure is woven in, making it look more natural than a printed pattern. For larger garments, Goldgelb/Brick has a warm, expressive colour effect; as a trim, the combination can set a strong accent to calmer wool or linen fabrics.
The Golden Yellow/Brick colour combination combines well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, cream white, dark brown, black, grey, midnight blue, olive green or muted green tones.
