Description
Wool Diamond Twill Wool White Rose Red 450g is a patterned wool fabric made of 100% sheep’s wool in carded yarn by the metre. The colour combination of light wool white and warm rose red looks friendly, clear and eye-catching without appearing too garish. The woven diamond structure gives the fabric more depth than a smooth woolen cloth. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of approx. 450 g/mtr.
With its medium weight, this diamond twill has enough substance for clothing and trimmings, but remains more flexible than heavy loden qualities. Off-white/rose red goes particularly well with garments where the pattern may be visible: simple cuts look more lively without the need for additional embellishments.

The wool fabric is well suited for tunics, dresses and trousers. This diamond twill can also be suitable for skirts, trimmings, bags, accessories, cowl, cotte, doublet, LARP, reenactment and historical garments . Especially with trimmings, hems, sleeves or pocket flaps, the weave structure comes into its own.
Diamond twill is a good choice if you don’t want a garment to look quite plain. The woven structure makes the fabric come alive but remains more natural than a printed fabric. For larger garments, off-white/rose red looks bright, friendly and colourful; as a trim, the colour combination can set a clear accent to calmer wool or linen fabrics.
The colour combination of wool white/rose red can be combined well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with natural linen, cream white, grey, dark brown, black, burgundy red, midnight blue or muted green tones.
