Description
Cloth loden in the colour rosemary mottled is a heavy wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The shade of green looks natural, subdued and slightly herbal, while the heather gives the fabric more depth than a completely monochrome green. As cloth loden ( rosemary mottled 700g ), the fabric brings a lot of substance for uniforms, coats, capes, blankets and robust furnishing projects. It is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 700 g/m.m.
At 700 g/mtr, this cloth loden is one of the heavy woollen fabrics. It is well suited for projects that need stability, warmth and a resilient fabric effect. The mottled surface makes the fabric look more natural and less smooth, which is particularly suitable for historical clothing, uniform representations, LARP, reenactment and rustic wool projects.

The wool is breathable, windproof and dirt- and water-repellent. This makes the fabric well suited for garment parts and projects that not only look beautiful, but are also practical to use. This is particularly interesting for coats, capes, blankets or covers, because the fabric appears strong, warming and weatherproof without being described as waterproof.
The colour rosemary mottled can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, cream white, brown, dark brown, grey, black, rust red, honey mustard or muted blue tones. As a mottled shade of green, rosemary is suitable for both calm main clothing and robust combinations with lighter or warm fabrics.
