Description
Cloth loden in the colour dark brown is a heavy wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The dark brown tone looks warm, calm and earthy without appearing as harsh as black. Cloth loden ( in dark brown 700g ) is particularly suitable for coats, capes, jackets, warm jackets and robust outerwear. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 700 g/mtr.
At 700 g/mtr, this cloth loden is one of the heavy woollen fabrics. It brings stability, warmth and a strong fabric effect, but remains well suited for wearable outerwear. Dark brown goes particularly well with historical clothing, LARP, reenactment and natural garments because the shade remains unobtrusive and can be easily combined with many other fabrics.
Cloth loden dark brown 700g: use and combination
The wool fabric is well suited for coats, capes and jackets. This heavy cloth loden can also be suitable for warm jackets, robust outerwear, cowl, cap, collar, doublet, trimmings, LARP, reenactment and historical garments . Dark brown comes into its own especially with coats, capes and darker outer garments, because the shade looks natural and still brings a lot of depth.
The wool is breathable, windproof and dirt- and water-repellent. This makes the fabric well suited for garment parts that not only look beautiful, but are also practical to use. This is particularly interesting for coats, capes and warm jackets, because the fabric appears strong, warming and weatherproof without being described as waterproof.
The colour dark brown can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with wool white, natural linen, cream white, grey, black, olive green, fir green, rust red, honey mustard, golden yellow or muted blue tones. As a dark natural tone, dark brown is suitable for calm main clothing as well as for trimmings and robust combinations with lighter fabrics.
