Description

Cloth loden 680g/m mottled in the colour British Coat Serge Twill woven is a heavy cloth loden by the metre in mottled look. The fabric is made of 100% virgin wool, is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 680 g/running meter.

Due to the serge or twill weave, the fabric has a firm, diagonally woven structure. It has a strong, warming and robust effect. The cloth loden is breathable, windproof, dirt and water-repellent and is well suited if you are looking for a dense wool fabric for resilient projects.

With its high weight, this fabric is particularly suitable for uniforms, coats, capes, blankets, robust outerwear and historical garments. It can also be used as a seat cover or for other home décor covers if a strong wool fabric with a natural, mottled look is desired.

The mottled look makes the fabric look more lively than a smooth, monochrome loden. It can be combined well with simple woollen fabrics, linen, loden and natural tones. Especially with coats, capes, uniform parts and blankets, the dense wool look comes into its own.

You can find more matching wool fabrics in the Cloth & Loden category. For the correct treatment of virgin wool, it is also worth taking a look at our Care instructions..
