Description
Cloth loden in the colour pepper and salt mottled is a medium-light wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The dark pepper-and-salt look looks calm, natural and slightly rustic without appearing restless. The mottled gives the fabric more depth than a completely monochrome wool fabric and makes it particularly versatile. As cloth loden ( pepper and salt mottled 480g ), the fabric has enough substance for trousers, warm tunics, jackets and light capes. It is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 480 g/mtr.
Due to its medium weight, this cloth loden is stronger than light woollen fabrics, but remains more flexible than a heavy coat loden. The mottled surface goes well with garments that should look natural, simple and not too smooth. For historical clothing, LARP, reenactment and robust wool projects, Tuchloden Pfefferundsalz mottled 480g is a calm and practical choice.

The wool fabric is well suited for uniform parts, trousers and warm tunics. This cloth loden can also be suitable for tabards, light capes, jackets, cowl, cotte, cappa, collar, doublet, trimmings, LARP, reenactment and historical garments . Especially with trousers, tunics, jackets and simple outer garments, the pepper-and-salt mottled comes into its own.
The wool is breathable, windproof and dirt- and water-repellent. This makes the fabric well suited for garment parts that not only look beautiful, but are also practical to use. For reenactment, LARP, medieval clothing and robust wool clothing, a cloth loden with 480 g/m is versatile if you are looking for a fabric with a bit of stability that still remains comfortable to wear.
The colour pepper and salt mottled can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, creamy white, black, dark brown, brown, rust red, golden yellow, olive green or muted blue tones. As a dark melange, the fabric is suitable for calm main clothing as well as for trimmings and natural combinations.

Ein wundervoller Stoff den ich bereits vor 3 Jahren schon einmal gekauft habe. Dabei ist besonders deutlich das die Farbnuancen unterschiedlich sein können. Das mein neuer “PfefferundSalz” nun etwas heller ist passt perfekt. Die Stoffe sind nicht immer genau gleich aber das ist auch die besondere Qualität der Naturproduckte!

Ich hab aus dem Stoff Beinlinge, eine Cappa fürs Kind und eine Pilgertasche genäht. Der Stoff lasst sich super verarbeiten und ist sehr angenehm auf der Haut, bin gegenüber Wolle sehr sensibel und diese Stoffe kann ich ohne Probleme tragen. Der Stoff ist regelmäßig gewebt und die Farbe gleichmäßig.
