Description
Cloth in the colour Grand Ducal Blue is a strong wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The blue tone looks deep, clear and noble without appearing restless. Grand Ducal Blue goes particularly well with coats, capes, jackets, warm tunics and historical clothing with a strong, high-quality colour effect. As a scarf ( Grand Duchy Blue 580g ), the fabric has enough substance for warming outerwear and robust garment parts. It is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 580 g/mtr.
At 580 g/s.m.m., this cloth is stronger and warmer than lighter wool fabrics with 330 g/m or 480 g/s.m. It is well suited for clothing that needs more stability, warmth and protection without immediately looking like a very heavy coat loden. The strong blue tone gives garments a calm, noble effect and can be combined particularly beautifully with off-white, natural linen, grey, black or warm gold and brown tones.
