Cloth in the color tulip tree purple is a medium-weight wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the meter. The purple shade looks warm, colourful and special without appearing too garish. Tulip tree purple goes well with visible garment parts, coloured trimmings and historical clothing with a somewhat more noble colour effect. As a cloth ( Tulip Tree Purple 480g ), the fabric has enough substance for trousers, tunics, jackets and light capes. It is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 480 g/mtr.
Due to the medium weight, this cloth is stronger than light woollen fabrics, but remains more flexible than a heavy coat fabric. It works well for clothes that need to have some grip without being too heavy.
