Description
Fabric structure mandarin orange by the metre is a medium-light wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool in a strong, warm orange tone. Mandarin orange looks lively, eye-catching and friendly – especially beautiful for visible garment parts, accents and clothing that is allowed to show color consciously.
The fabric is approx. 150 cm wide and has a weight of 480 g/m or approx. 320 g/m². Due to its medium weight, this cloth is versatile: stronger than a light woollen fabric, but not yet as heavy as a dense coat fabric. The textured surface makes the fabric livelier than a very smooth woolen cloth and gives finished garments more character.
The virgin wool is breathable, windproof, dirt and water repellent. This makes this scarf particularly suitable for clothing that not only looks beautiful, but also needs to be practically wearable in everyday life, at events or in historical garments.
This cloth structure mandarin orange by the meter is well suited for tunics, dresses, trousers, tabards, cowls, jackets, light capes, uniform parts and historical garments. The fabric is also interesting for LARP, reenactment and medieval clothing if you are looking for a robust wool fabric with a warm, eye-catching colour effect.
The colour mandarin orange can be combined well with natural white, wool white, brown, dark grey, black, green or muted blue tones. Especially for tabards, trimmings, cowls, tunics or jackets, the warm orange tone can be used as the main colour or strong contrast.
