Description
Shawl in the colour Halite Blue is a medium-weight wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The blue tone looks clear, cool and calm without appearing too garish. Halite blue goes particularly well with garments that should be colourful but not too loud. As a cloth ( halite blue 480g ), the fabric has enough substance for trousers, tunics, jackets and light capes. It is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 480 g/mtr.
Due to the medium weight, this cloth is stronger than light woollen fabrics, but remains more flexible than a heavy coat fabric. It works well for clothes that need to have some grip without being too heavy. For tunics, trousers, jackets or trimmings, Halite Blue Cloth 480g is a nice choice if you are looking for a clear shade of blue with a calm, natural wool effect.
Halite Blue Cloth 480g: Use and Combination
The wool fabric is well suited for trousers, warm tunics and tabards. This shawl can also be suitable for light capes, uniform parts, jackets, cowls, cottes, cappa, collars, doublets, trimmings, LARP, reenactment and historical garments . Halite blue comes into its own especially in tunics, jackets and coloured trimmings, because the colour looks clear and can still be combined well with natural tones.
The wool is breathable, windproof and dirt- and water-repellent. This makes the fabric well suited for garment parts that not only look beautiful, but are also practical to use. This is particularly interesting for trousers, tunics, light capes or jackets because the fabric looks robust, but is not as heavy as a dense coat loden.
The colour halite blue can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, creamy white, grey, black, dark brown, golden yellow, rust red or muted green tones. As a clear shade of blue, halite blue is suitable for main clothing as well as trimmings and contrasting combinations.
