Description
Wool muslin in the colour Romanesco green is a very light fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The green tone looks fresh, bright and natural without appearing too garish. Wool muslin ( in Romanesco green 110g ) is particularly suitable for fine garments such as veils, hoods, headscarves, turbans, undergarments, light toga and delicate scarves. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 110 g/m.
Due to its very low weight, this wool muslin falls particularly fine, soft and light. The plain weave provides a simple surface that goes well with historical clothing, fine headwear and light layers of fabric. Romanesco green brings a clear, fresh colour effect to the garment and remains more natural than very bright green tones.
Wool Muslin Romanesco Green 110g: Uses and Combinations
The wool muslin is well suited for veils, hoods and headscarves. This fabric can also be suitable for turbans, undergarments, light toga, shawls, lining layers, fine historical clothing, LARP and reenactment . Romanesco green comes into its own especially with coloured headgear, light garment parts and fine intermediate layers.
Wool muslin made from virgin wool can be comfortable to wear because wool can absorb moisture and, depending on the layering, has both a light and warming effect. Especially with very fine fabrics, depending on the cut, number of layers and processing, it should be considered that the fabric can appear somewhat translucent.
The colour Romanesco green can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, creamy white, grey, dark brown, black, rust red, golden yellow or muted blue tones. As a fresh shade of green, Romanesco green is suitable for visible light garments as well as for natural accents with calmer outer fabrics.
