Description
Virgin wool herringbone wool white is a light wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool in a light, natural wool white. The uneven herringbone weave gives the fabric a subtle, lively structure and makes it more interesting than a completely smooth woolen cloth.
The fabric is approx. 150 cm wide and has a weight of 230 g/m or approx. 153 g/m². This makes it easy and comfortable to fall without appearing stiff. It is particularly suitable for projects where a soft, flexible wool fabric is sought.
Due to its low weight, this virgin wool is well suited for undergarments, light overdresses, linings, tunics, empire dresses, veils, scarves and fine historical garments. A light-coloured wool fabric can also be interesting for dyeing projects if the colour and processing are tested in advance.
The light wool white can be combined very well with strong wool fabrics, linen, loden and natural tones. Especially with multi-layered clothing, trimmings or as a calm base fabric, the fine herringbone structure comes into its own.

| Care instructions | Virgin wool loves to hang out in the fresh air and therefore rarely needs to be washed. Depending on how it is processed, it can be washed cold and spin-free on the wool cycle. If you want to be on the safe side, you can take them to the dry cleaners. |
