Description
Cloth with structure in the colour Shrek is a medium-light wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The green tone looks strong, fresh and eye-catching without appearing dark. The fine structure gives the surface more depth and looks more handcrafted than with a completely smooth cloth. As a cloth ( structure Shrek 480g ), the fabric has enough substance for trousers, tunics, jackets and light capes. It is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 480 g/mtr.
Due to the medium weight, this cloth is stronger than light woollen fabrics, but remains more flexible than a heavy coat fabric. The textured surface adds depth to simple cuts and ensures that trousers, tunics, jackets or light capes don’t look too smooth. In the colour Shrek, the fabric is a beautiful basis for eye-catching, colourful and easily combinable garments.
Cloth structure Shrek 480g: use and combination
The wool fabric is well suited for trousers, warm tunics and tabards. This textured cloth can also be suitable for light capes, uniform parts, jackets, cowls, cottes, caps, collars, doublets, trimmings and historical garments . Especially for medieval clothing, LARP and reenactment, a wool fabric with a weight of 480 g/m is versatile, because it does not look too light and still remains comfortable to wear.
The wool is breathable, windproof and dirt- and water-repellent. This makes the fabric well suited for garment parts that not only look beautiful, but are also practical to use. This is particularly interesting for trousers, tunics, light capes or jackets because the fabric looks robust without being as heavy as a dense coat loden.
The colour Shrek combines well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, creamy white, brown, dark brown, grey, black, rust red or muted blue tones. As an eye-catching shade of green, Shrek is suitable for visible main clothing as well as trimmings and colourful accents.
