Description
Cloth structure in the colour rosewood is a structured wool fabric by the metre in a warm, subdued rose-brown tone. Rosewood looks soft, natural and a little more noble than a classic pink. The fabric is made of 100% virgin wool, is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 480 g/running meter.
Due to the visible structure, the fabric looks more lively and handcrafted than a smooth woolen cloth. It is well suited for tunics, dresses, trousers, jackets, tabards, trimmings, accessories and historical garments. Due to its structure, it is particularly suitable when a garment should not appear completely smooth, but more natural and characterful.
The virgin wool is breathable, windproof, dirt and water repellent. The colour rosewood can be combined well with simple woollen fabrics, linen, loden and natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, grey, dark brown, black, old pink or muted green tones. Our wool muslin is particularly suitable as a lining fabric.
