Description
Cloth loden in the colour crowberry blue mottled is a strong wool fabric made of 100% virgin wool by the metre. The dark, berry blue tone looks calm, deep and natural, while the mottled gives the fabric more liveliness than a completely monochrome blue. As cloth loden ( crowberry blue mottled 580g ), the fabric has enough substance for coats, capes, warm tunics and jackets. It is 150 cm wide and has a weight of 580 g/mtr.
At 580 g/m, this cloth loden is stronger and warmer than lighter wool fabrics with 330 g/m or 480 g/m/m. The mottled surface makes the fabric look more natural and goes well with garments that should not appear too smooth. Crowberry blue mottled is particularly suitable for darker outerwear, calm capes and robust garments with a deep but easy to combine colour effect.

This strong cloth loden can also be suitable for jackets, cowls, cottes, cappa, collars, doublets, trimmings, LARP, reenactment and historical garments . Especially in capes, jackets and dark outer garments, crowberry blue mottled comes into its own beautifully, because the colour brings depth and remains lively due to the mottleing.
The wool is breathable, windproof and dirt- and water-repellent. This makes the fabric well suited for garment parts that not only look beautiful, but are also practical to use. This is particularly interesting for coats, capes, warm tunics and jackets, because the fabric appears robust, warming and weatherproof without being described as waterproof.
The colour crowberry blue mottled can be combined very well with wool, loden, linen and other natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, creamy white, grey, black, dark brown, rust red, golden yellow or muted green tones. As a dark, mottled shade of blue, crowberry blue is suitable for calm main clothing as well as for trimmings and clear combinations with lighter fabrics.
