When we left for the fair in Orange/France, we actually just wanted to enjoy a few days at the sea afterwards and then go home again. At short notice, however, our participation in the reenactment fair Armi & Bagagli in Piacenza/Italy came up at the end of the following week. So we briefly made the decision to stay in the south and enjoyed a beaten week at the beautiful Côte d’Azur. After the long time in the lockdown a wonderful recovery! Then we went straight to Italy, where we found accommodation in the small town of Travo, beautifully situated in a valley with a river. The fair was good but exhausting, drummers in a hall are just very loud. Monday we took a 14-hour ride to Frankfurt with a detour to the Salzburg Festival, which desperately needed our white wool-silk fabric.
Tired but happy, we then set about sending out the last orders received. There is no time for much rest, as we are already pitching our tent in Freisen on Friday. We are really looking forward to seeing many old friends in person again!
So come in droves to the pre-summer medieval market Freisen!
