Wool mix with silk in the colour petrol<\/strong> is a lighter fabric than by the metre in a strong, cool blue-green. Petrol looks calm, noble and colourful without being garish. The colour goes particularly well with fine garments, light dresses, tunics, shawls and historical sewing projects with a clear but natural colour effect. <\/p>\n

The fabric consists of 50% wool, 40% viscose and 10% silk<\/strong>, is 150 cm wide<\/strong> and has a weight of 260 g\/m<\/strong> or 173 g\/m\u00b2<\/strong>. The blend of wool, viscose and silk makes the fabric look finer and softer than many robust wool fabrics. It falls easily, lies comfortably on the skin and is therefore particularly suitable when a garment should look comfortable, flexible and a little more noble. <\/p>\n

Wool mix with silk petrol: use and combination<\/h3>\n

Due to its light weight, this wool mix is well suited for dresses, underdresses and light overdresses<\/strong>. The fabric can also be suitable for tunics, linings, shawls, veils, strappy dresses, fine garments and historical clothing<\/strong> . The plain weave provides a simple, calm surface that can be used in a variety of ways. <\/p>\n

The colour petrol<\/strong> can be combined well with linen, wool, loden and natural tones. It looks particularly beautiful together with off-white, natural linen, grey, black, dark brown, blue, green or warm yellow tones. This makes the fabric suitable for quiet individual pieces as well as for combinations with lighter or stronger outer fabrics. <\/p>\n

The fabric is a good choice if you want a project to look light, pleasant and high-quality. Due to the material mixture, it is very interesting for historical garments, LARP, reenactment, fine undergarments, light tunics and lining layers. Petrol has a strong but balanced colour effect and can be particularly effective on visible garments, scarves or light overdresses. <\/p>\n
